In shared third place is Vinícius Júnior from Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappé from Paris Saint-Germain. They both scored seven goals in last year’s Champions League. Both the 23-year-old Brazilian player Vinícius Júnior and the 24-year-old French player Kylian Mbappé had leading roles in their teams’ performances in the tournament. Ahead of them as a favorite is Erling Haaland, whose top-scoring abilities have given him status as one the main favorites for the prize.
